Carolina is partner of CAR in São Paulo and specializes in Insurance & Reinsurance, Regulatory and Corporate.
Carolina focuses on transactional work, including the incorporation of supervised companies and registration of admitted and occasional reinsurers as well as assistance in setting-up their business in Brazil, assistance in distribution of insurance transactions, legal assistance to insurers, reinsurers, brokers, reinsurance brokers, MGAs and insurtechs and has assisted players with their participation in the Regulatory Sandbox.
Carolina also specializes in data protection and credit insurance, as well as in the development of complex insurance products, such as parametric, cyber, credit and jewellery insurance and adjust complex non-life claims for the reinsurance market.
Carolina is president of the Reinsurance Group of AIDA (Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances) in Brazil and is member of the Insurance Commission of OAB/SP.
Carolina is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English.
